The Christmas Bird Count is North Americas longest-running citizen science project, where volunteers count birds to identify population trends and species distribution.  

Biologist Beth MacCallum has been part of the Hinton bird count for the past 39 years and stops by to chat about the count and some of the finds and changes in the Hinton area over the past few decades.

Biologist Gordon Stenhouse has been studying Bears for decades and joins us on this episode for an in-depth look into the world of bears!
