Fearing the involvement of a human trafficking ring, the adventuring party sets out to gather information to gain them access to hopefully discover the location of Grenxander's daughter, Valrie. Their foray into some of the seedier locales of Aconitum Falls might end up necessitating some self evaluation and discovery.

After reuniting their friend Grenxander's soul with his rightful body, plans to right Grenxander's estate begin to develop. In dealing with the conflict, the party has found evidence of a human trafficking element that could potentially account for Grenxander's missing wife and daughter. Setting out for answers, the adventurers discover veiled truths in a familiar haven, as well as riddles at the threshold to a proverbial serpent's den.
