Lissseeennn! We are keeping it short and sweet this week. 

We are one week into the new year and I know I said "we got next"..but while we are becoming, are we overlooking all the beauty and the blessings right in front of us? This week let's pause and notice all the things!

What changes are you making this year. This year is about moving the needle forward according to God's plan, not my own. We...got...next!

A year ago,  I had back surgery...three weeks after that I had another back surgery.  This has been a year of rebuilding De. It has been hard and "this" hard rendered me vulnerable. I thought I had it all figured out. It turns out-I didn't. LOL My focus is new, and so are my plans. Instead of focusing on the results, I will  be focused on the process...on the seeds I've been given. I will leave the rest up to HIM. 

It has been a difficult year to say these least. I am calling this whole year a "valley" year. As I journey towards healing...I need to re-establish my community and there is no other way than a book club! Also-I joined a new hood...grandparent HOOD. 

De and Corrie are back with a fitness update. They are discussing eating and working out-then it took a turn to arguing about peace...triggers...boundaries. LOL The conversation was supposed to be about unhealthy habit or patterns. What happened?!

As we approach Mother's Day...I think about all of the women who have 'mothered' me over the years. I think about the sacrifice of those women and all the times those women stood behind me during my celebrations as well as my losses. Today we celebrate all moms, auntie moms, bonus moms, godmoms and grandmothers. Also, I  recognize my mom and share the lessons I've learned from her.
