In this week's reading, we are learning to honor God with our speech! Take the time to memorize the verse Ephesians 4:29 each day for this reading. "Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them."

Colossians 3:20-21 says don't be angry with your kids or they'll be discouraged. We need to encourage our kids to grow in their faith, which requires patience.

God disciplines us because He loves us! We need to discipline kids in the same way God disciplines us as His kids, with love.

In Ephesians, it says: "I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God."

To go further from yesterday's topic, today, we start with showing children the Gospel. Psalm 78:4 says don't hide the truths and tell children the glorious deeds of our Lord, about His power, and His mighty wonders.
