Back in 1983, five people lost their lives in a robbery gone wrong. The assailants, two identified as Darnell Hartsfield and his cousin Romeo Pinkerton, were eventually convicted of this crime decades later. A third DNA profile found doesn't match any of the suspects. That person is still unidentified and still being pursued by law enforcement.

On May 14, 2015, Amanda Pierce made two phone calls trying to escape the threats from her then-boyfriend, Brayan Espona had just made to her 24 hours before she is found hanging in the couple's bedroom closet. Espona told Pierce if she wasn't out of the house by 7 PM, upon his return from work, he was going to strangle her and get away with it. Two people overhead Amanda sharing this information.
