neo- 表示复制模仿先前已经存在的事物，来更新创新，比如这个英文释义很清晰，a new and different form of something that existed in the past such as a theory, style, language, or philosophy. 比如说neo-classical architecture，neo- 就表示仿古希腊罗马的建筑风格，是一种复兴复古的风格。所以在表达新中式的时候，这个 neo- 更准确。但是呢，new Chinese style 用法也很广泛。所以两个表达其实都可以。
